Artificial intelligence is becoming an important part of India’s healthcare industry, and investors are backing companies that can help hospitals work more efficiently. Healthtech startup Mykare AI has now raised $3.2 million in a bridge funding round to expand its AI-powered healthcare platform, strengthen its network of healthcare providers, and accelerate product development. The fresh funding marks another milestone for the Bengaluru-based company as it scales technology designed to improve patient engagement and hospital operations.

Funding to Drive Growth

Mykare AI said it will use the new capital to expand the reach of its AI-native healthcare operating system across India. The company plans to onboard more healthcare providers, enhance its technology platform, and continue building products that help hospitals automate routine tasks while improving the patient experience.

The bridge funding comes after Mykare raised $2.01 million in seed funding in 2023, which helped the company strengthen its technology and grow its presence in the healthcare sector.

Building AI for Healthcare Operations

Founded in 2021 by Senu Sam, Rahmathulla TM, and Joash Philipose, Mykare AI develops technology that helps hospitals manage patient interactions more efficiently. The company offers an AI-native healthcare operating system that supports healthcare providers throughout the patient journey.

Its platform uses AI-powered voice and text agents to handle patient enquiries, schedule appointments, update customer relationship management (CRM) systems, send follow-up messages, and collect patient feedback. By automating these routine processes, hospitals can reduce manual work and respond to patients more quickly.

Expanding Across Healthcare Facilities

According to the company, Mykare AI’s platform is currently deployed in 30 to 35 healthcare facilities. With the new investment, the company plans to expand its presence to around 100 clinics in the coming months.

Mykare AI says its technology is designed to help healthcare providers reduce missed patient enquiries and improve communication throughout the treatment process. The platform aims to support hospitals by managing repetitive administrative tasks, allowing healthcare professionals to spend more time on patient care.

Focus on Better Patient Engagement

The company describes its platform as an AI-native operating system that simplifies hospital workflows while improving patient engagement. Through automated voice and text communication, the platform helps healthcare providers manage appointment bookings, patient follow-ups, lead qualification, CRM updates, and feedback collection.

As hospitals continue to adopt digital technologies, automation is becoming an important tool for improving operational efficiency and patient services. Mykare AI believes its platform can help healthcare providers deliver faster responses and more consistent communication without increasing administrative workload.

Looking Ahead

The latest funding highlights growing investor interest in AI-driven healthcare solutions that improve efficiency across hospitals and clinics. With plans to expand its network to around 100 clinics and continue developing its AI platform, Mykare AI is positioning itself to support the digital transformation of healthcare in India.

As demand for technology-enabled healthcare services continues to grow, the company aims to help healthcare providers streamline operations while creating a smoother experience for patients.
