Precision oncology company Inocras Inc. has secured $31 million in an oversubscribed Series B-3 financing round, marking another important milestone in its growth journey. The San Diego-based company said the latest investment brings its total funding to approximately $100 million and will help expand its commercial and operational presence across the United States.
The funding reflects continued investor confidence in Inocras’ whole-genome sequencing and bioinformatics platform, which is designed to improve cancer diagnosis and treatment through comprehensive genomic analysis.
Funding Round Attracted Multiple Investors
The Series B-3 financing round was backed by a group of existing and new investors. Participants included NDS Corporation, Aimed Bio Inc., DSC Investment, Dunamu & Partners, InterVest, Korea Investment & Securities, Shinhan Securities, Woori Investment & Securities, DT& Investment, IMM Investment, and LoftyRock Investment.
The company described the round as oversubscribed, highlighting strong interest from investors in precision oncology and genomic medicine.
Funding Will Accelerate U.S. Expansion
According to Inocras, the newly raised capital will primarily support the expansion of its commercial and operational infrastructure in the United States. The company aims to strengthen its presence in the country’s rapidly growing precision medicine market while making its genomic testing solutions available to more healthcare providers.
The investment will also support broader adoption of the company’s whole-genome sequencing technology and bioinformatics platform for cancer care.
Focused on Whole-Genome Sequencing for Cancer Care
Inocras develops precision oncology solutions powered by whole-genome sequencing (WGS) and advanced bioinformatics. Instead of analyzing only selected genes, whole-genome sequencing examines the complete genetic makeup of a patient’s cancer, helping identify clinically relevant genomic alterations.
The company combines genomic data with proprietary analytical tools to generate insights that can assist clinicians in selecting personalized treatment strategies.
Its portfolio includes CancerVision, a whole-genome sequencing solution for comprehensive tumor profiling, and MRDVision, a whole-genome-based minimal residual disease (MRD) monitoring solution that uses circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) to detect remaining cancer cells after treatment.
Building on Clinical Success
Inocras has already established a clinical presence across leading cancer institutions in Asia. The company now plans to build on that experience by expanding its operations in the United States.
Commenting on the financing, Jehee Suh, CEO of Inocras, said the company has demonstrated meaningful clinical adoption at major cancer centers in Asia. He added that the new investment will help accelerate the company’s mission of making whole-genome analysis a standard component of cancer care in the U.S.
Growing Momentum in Precision Oncology
Advances in genomic sequencing continue to reshape cancer diagnosis and treatment by providing deeper insights into the genetic changes that drive disease. As healthcare providers increasingly adopt precision medicine approaches, comprehensive genomic analysis is becoming an important tool for delivering personalized care.
With approximately $100 million in total funding secured to date, Inocras is well positioned to expand its U.S. footprint and bring its whole-genome sequencing technology to a broader network of healthcare providers. The latest financing represents another significant step in the company’s effort to advance precision oncology through data-driven genomic analysis.
This investment also underscores the growing confidence of investors in companies developing innovative genomic technologies that have the potential to improve cancer diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient outcomes while supporting the future of precision medicine.
